During this voyage, we focus on the
spectacular fjords and islands of North Spitsbergen, which offer
abundant bird life and the chance of encounters with Walruses, Reindeer,
Ringed and Bearded Seals and with luck, Polar Bears. Ice conditions permitting,
we reach the Hinlopen Strait and Nordaustlandet. This frozen world has a lure
of its own and our exploration a pioneering feel to it. Various cabin levels available from

SELECTED DEPARTURE
Depending on ice conditions, we circumnavigate Spitsbergen clockwise or
anti-clockwise, with the emphasis on exploring key locations in the
east, where Polar Bears abound. This voyage is wonderful for observing
Walruses, Ringed and Bearded Seals and may even yield sightings of the
elusive Greenland Whale. we also go ashore on the tundra, where Reindeer graze and

This is a true Arctic voyage in the realm of Polar Bear and Walrus. With sea ice conditions
favorable, we vist Kejser Franz Joseph Fjord and Scoresby Sund with its
huge glaciers and beautifully sculpted icebergs. With heavy conditions
we sail to the wild Blosseville coast and south to Ammassalik, where
Narwhals are often spotted and we may encounter Polar Bears as they

From Keflavik we sail north to Scoresby Sund Fjord, its huge glaciers calve glistening icebergs and
set to a backdrop of spectacular mountains and tundra,. Heading south, we reach Nansen and Kangerlussuaq Fjords,
to encounter Narwhals and Polar Bears. At Køge Bugt, where the
Greenland Ice Cap reaches the sea, large tabular icebergs drift around
