Located by the Río de la Plata, the widest estuary in the world, Buenos Aires is the capital of tango, of the gaucho and the ‘asado’ (Argentine-style barbecue).

Salta, Capital city of the province of the same name, boasts a touch of elegance that is unmistakable symbol of a sumptuous past that is still alive in its large old manors and flowery patios. Among the big Argentine cities, this is the city where the Spanish influence is best preserved. It is located on the northern extreme of the Lerma Valley, at the foothill of the San Bernardo Hill, 1,280 meters (4,260 feet) above sea level and 1,610 km (1,006 miles) from Buenos Aires. It has many interesting buildings that are worth a visit, such as the Cathedral, dating back to the second half of the XIX century; the Cabildo, built at the same time, which houses the Historic Northwestern Museum; the San Francisco Temple and Convent, whose present building was finished by the mid XVIII century and which was declared Minor Basilica by the Vatican in 1997.

Once the route has entered Salta, the next place reached is Cafayate, located 1,600 meters (5,300 feet) above sea level. Its main economic activity is wine production, especially white wines.

The Iguazú Falls are located in the northwest extreme of the province of Misiones, 1,400 km(875miles) from Buenos Aires, where the waters of the Iguazú River (limit between Argentina and Brazil) flow from a height of 70 meters (233 feet) onto the inferior course of the river offering the unique spectacle of its 275 falls that seem to emerge from the virgin jungle of the Iguazú National Park, which protects over 2,000 flora species and 400 bird and wild animal species. ‘Iguazú’ means ‘Great Waters’ in the language of the ‘Guaraníes’, aborigines that inhabited the region prior to white men arrival. Two thirds of the falls are within the Argentine limits. However, it is necessary to explore both sides since there is a very good panoramic view from Brazil.

  • Day 1 Buenos Aires - Meet & Greet at Ezeiza Airport and transfer to hotel. Welcome massage at hotel. Accommodation at Hotel Park Hyatt.
  • Day 2 Buenos Aires - Half Day City tour, visiting the most important sites in Buenos Aires city. Body treatment at hotel. Dinner & Tango Show at Esquina Carlos Gardel. Accommodation.
  • Day 3 Buenos Aires / Salta & Cafayate - Transfer to Aeroparque airport to board the flight to Salta. Reception at Salta airport and city tour. Transfer excursion to Cafayate through the Quebrada of Cafayate. Wine therapy treatment at hotel. Accommodation at Patios de Cafayate.
  • Day 4 Salta & Cafayate - Half Day Andean Wellness tour: Guided trekking at “Quebrada de Cafayate”. Transfer to Salta city. Accommodation at Solar de la Plaza.
