photo of Tango dancers, Argentina Courtesy of Argentina Tourism BoardYou will discover the dance and learn how to do it by lessons given at your own hotel. This tour is an introduction to history of Tango, recreated in the background of the most elegant neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, such as sophisticated Recoleta, San Telmo, one of the oldest and most traditional and the place where Tango was born, La Boca, located at the Riachuelo River bank, where Genoese immigrants settled at the end of last century. This is the perfect scenery that transports you to the past to revive little by little how the tango became one of the most elegant and sensual dances of the world. This is a program specially prepared for VISA Signature.

Located by the Río de la Plata, the widest estuary in the world, Buenos Aires is the capital of tango, of the gaucho and the ‘asado’ (Argentine-style barbecue). It offers its visitors assorted alternatives to meet all wishes. In the ‘city that never sleeps’, there is time and space for everyone.
Buenos Aires is one of the most populated cities in the world, counting a total of thirteen million inhabitants in both the city and its suburbs.

Tango: Buenos Aires is the world’s supreme ‘tangopolis’. It is impossible to visit the city without getting in touch with this authentic social expression. Enjoying a sensual show accompanied by a good dinner is a ‘must’. But you will get a far outreaching experience: taking a few tango lessons, attending a ‘milonga’, and take guided visits to the most bohemians’ corners in the city where this mysterious music was born and grew, so sensual and so Argentine. Discover its lyrics, hard to penetrate and even harder to translate, but so representative of its inhabitants’ history, as the most refined poetic expression.
