Along the road, the small handy-craft villages of Tophati Celuk and Mas are visited. To the east, the history and culture is at its strongest on the island, both shown very clearly in the people’s everyday lives. Permuteran is a hidden jewel in Bali, al though it is far from the south and the main tourist spots, it offers some of the nicest beaches and crystal clear waters. Excellent for snorkeling and diving, especially around the island of Menjangan where Whale Sharks have been spotted.

Includes: Twin-share accommodation in air-conditioned rooms, with bath or shower, meals as specified in the itinerary. Transportation by air-conditioned land cruiser or similar luxurious car with English, German, French, Spanish, Italian speaking guide. All entrance fees, donations. Service charges, room tax, VAT, driver and guide expenses, and baggage handling.

  • Day 01 Arrival Bali – South Bali / Jimbaran (no meals) - Arrive at Ngurah Rai International airport, meet and greet with our guide and transfer directly to your hotel. After check in, rest of the day at leisure. *** Lunch and Dinner at own arrangement *** Accommodation at the JIMBARAN PURI BALI.
  • Day 02 Jimbaran – Ubud (B) - Breakfast at the hotel. 08:30 Start your trip with a visit to Tohpati, which is known for its batik and continue to Celuk, the center of exquisite silver works and Mas, for fine woodcarvings. Enter Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali with many fine art galleries, and a home to a score of local and foreign artists. One of them is Agung Rai Museum of Art which has an extensive collection of paintings by Balinese, Indonesian and foreign artists in classic Balinese and contemporary styles. Afterwards, you can test your bargaining skill at Ubud art market prior to a visit to Puri Saren Agung whose royal family ruled Ubud from the late 1800’s until 1917. Evening at leisure or Optional traditional dances at the Puri Saren Palace. *** Lunch and Dinner at own arrangement *** Accommodation at MAYA UBUD.
  • Day 03 Ubud – Candi Dasa/Manggis (B) - Breakfast at the hotel. 08:30 hrs After breakfast, we visit the Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) whose history dates back to the 11th century. A fantastically carved entrance depicts entangling leaves, rocks, animals, ocean waves and demonic human shapes running from the gaping mouth which forms the entrance to the cave. We then head east to Kerta Gosa, or Hall of Justice, built in 18th century in Klungkung. It is beautifully laid out within a moat and provides an exquisite example of the Klungkung style of painting and architecture which can be seen in their ceiling murals. Continue on to Kusamba, a fishermen village that also engages in the salt making where you will also see colorful outrigger lined up along the black sand shores. The costal road with full view to Nusa Penida will lead us to Goa Lawah (Bat Cave). This cave, whose walls vibrate with thousands of bats, is considered holy, and a temple and surrounding shrines protect the entrance. Our last stop will be Tenganan, an original Balinese village, a stronghold of ancient traditions. You can see the local women weave the famous “flaming” cloth, kamben geringsing, which supposedly has the power of immunize the wearer against evil. Check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure. *** Lunch and Dinner at own arrangement *** Accommodation at the ALILA MANGGIS.
  • Day 04 Candi Dasa / Manggis – Pemuteran (B) - Breakfast at the hotel. 07:30 After breakfast, we visit Taman Tirta Gangga (Water Palace) whose swimming pools and ornamental ponds serve as a fascinating reminder of the Balinese rajah’s old days. We then go northwest and stop in Putung to see panoramic view over the eastern bay. Continue through spectacular views of terraced rice fields to Besakih temple, located on the slope of Mount Agung, Bali highest volcano. It is called the Mother Temple of Bali as it houses ancestral shrines for all Hindu Balinese and a complex of nearly 24 temples. Lunch on the way. Our next stop is Kintamani that present breathtaking view over the caldera lake, Danau Batur. Descending towards the north coast we go to Pemuteran. Evening at leisure. *** Lunch and Dinner at own arrangement *** Accommodation at the MATAHARI BEACH RESORT & SPA.
  • Day 05 Pemuteran (B) - Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at leisure (optional: snorkeling or diving trip to Menjangan Island). *** Lunch and Dinner at own arrangement *** Accommodation at the MATAHARI BEACH RESORT & SPA.
  • Day 06 Pemuteran – South Bali – Departure (B) - Breakfast at the hotel. 09:00 After breakfast at hotel, we take you back to the South through the stunning rice field of Pupuan. We transfer you to the airport or to your hotel where you continue your beach holiday.
