  • DAY 2 ALICE SPRINGS / AYERS ROCK - Two day Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Tour Departing Alice Springs this morning, enjoy a short stop at the Camel Farm. You will then continue past Atila (Mt Conner) mesa, arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. Visit the Cultural Centre to learn more about this ancient culture. You may see Aboriginal artists at work at the Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative. Take a guided walk to the beautiful waterhole of Mutitjulu. Tour the base of Uluru before joining your guide on the Mala Walk. Explore Kantju Gorge. Late in the afternoon, watch the sunset. A complimentary glass of wine will be served while you view one of Australia’s greatest icons.   • DAY 3 DEPART AYERS ROCK - This morning return to Uluru to watch the sunrise. With a tea or coffee in hand, watch as the first light of day brings the desert to life. Journey to Kata Tjuta and take a guided walk along the creek bed between the striking red walls of Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Transfer to Ayers Rock Airport for flights after midday. Depart Ayers Rock – flight must depart no earlier than 1.00 pm.

Note: This tour will operate in reverse with the exclusion of PM town tour. Arrival into Ayers Rock must be not later than 12:30 pm.

  • DAY 2 ALICE SPRINGS/AYERS ROCK - Three day tour to Ayers Rock & Kings Canyon. Depart Alice Springs and travel through rugged ‘Outback’ landscapes. Stop to visit a Camel Farm to learn a little about these animals which have played such an important role in the development of central Australia. You also have the opportunity to try riding one (own expense). Back aboard the coach, continue through the red sands, stopping to view the intriguing flat-topped Mt Conner before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. Early in the afternoon, visit the Cultural Centre and Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative where you may see Aboriginal artists at work. Take a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole. See cave paintings and hear the legends of Kuniya Tjukurpa (Python Dreaming). Tour the base of Uluru before joining your guide and learn about the geology and flora of the region on the Mala Walk. Explore Kantju Gorge. As the sun starts to sink in the desert sky, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and watch the play of light and colour as the golden rays of the setting sun strike Uluru.   • DAY 3 AYERS ROCK/KINGS CANYON - Rise early and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at Uluru as the day’s first light brings the desert to life. With the sun still climbing, travel to the 36 giant rocky domes of Kata Tjuta. Join a guided walk into Olga Gorge and keep an eye out for ancient petroglyphs (stone carvings) in the rock floor. This afternoon travel through the red desert sands to Kings Canyon. ACCOMMODATION - KINGS CANYON RESORT – 1 night room only basis.
  • DAY 4 KINGS CANYON/ALICE SPRINGS - Enjoy a guided walk to the rim of Kings Canyon and through the ‘Lost City’ and ‘Garden of Eden’ (requires a good degree of fitness). See the towering walls and unique plant life. An alternative easy walk along the canyon floor is available. This afternoon travel through the vast cattle properties of Central Australia stopping at Kings Creek Station before arriving in Alice Springs at approximately 6.30pm.   • DAY 2 BRISBANE - Brisbane’s Best Tour - City Sights & River Cruise. Take in the sights of this dynamic city with a relaxing and informative morning cruise along the river to Newstead House. Enjoy morning tea by the river. In the afternoon visit Mt Coot-tha Lookout and take in views spanning the Great Dividing Range to the west and Moreton Bay and Islands in the east. Visit Lone Pine, one of Australia’s largest Koala sanctuary and have the opportunity to ‘cuddle a koala’, an unforgettable and moving experience available only in Queensland.   • DAY 2 DARWIN/KAKADU NATIONAL PARK - Two day Kakadu National Park Tour. After departing Darwin travel into World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and gain an insight into the cultural and historical significance the park holds for its traditional owners. Join a guided boat cruise on Yellow Water, Kakadu’s most famous wetland area. Keep a look out for the powerful saltwater crocodiles, diverse birdlife and beautiful waterlilies. After lunch travel to Nourlangie art sites and view the ancient galleries of artwork.   • DAY 3 KAKADU NATIONAL PARK/DARWIN - This morning you may wish to take a scenic flight over the Arnhem Land Escarpment (own expense). Travel to Ubirr to see superbly preserved Aboriginal rock art before joining an Aboriginal guide for a cruise on the East Alligator River. Learn of the flora, fauna, Aboriginal mythology and history of the region, and by special permission, take a short walk into Arnhem Land. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre and stop at Window on the Wetlands for a glass of wine while watching the changing light of day over the wetlands before returning to Darwin.   • DAY 2 MELBOURNE - Melbourne city sights tour and Penguin Parade Tour. Join your coach for a combination of Melbourne sights and fabulous Fairy Penguin Parade. Discover the charm of Melbourne. See Captain Cook’s Cottage, Queen Victoria Market, Fitzroy Gardens and Albert Park, home to the Australian Grand Prix. Stroll the Royal Botanic Gardens, see the Royal Exhibition Buildings and Federation Square. Visit the Shrine of Remembrance and see the Southbank waterfront precinct. See some of the city’s architecture including St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Princess and Regent theatres. Cross the West Gate Bridge for great city views.   • DAY 1 ARRIVE SYDNEY - International Arrivals: Upon arrival in Sydney, a HotelBus representative will meet you at either exit gates A/D or C/D. HotelBus driver’s/representatives will be wearing a RED Akubra hat and will also be holding a signboard with your name on it. Domestic Arrivals: Upon arrival in Sydney, please meet your HotelBus representative at your baggage claim area On check in please collect your travel documents from the hotel receptionist. ACCOMMODATION - 3 NIGHTS ROOM ONLY BASIS.
  • DAY 2 SYDNEY - Full day Sydney in a Day Tour including Magistic Luncheon Cruise Your tour introduces you to the highlights of Sydney including the city, Manly and the Northern Beaches and the Rocks, Kings Cross and Bondi Beach. Travel through the historic Rocks area, cross Sydney Harbour Bridge and stroll along picturesque Manly Beach. See Sydney’s world renowned city sights: Harbour Bridge, Cadman’s Cottage, the sails of the Opera House, Darling Harbour and vibrant Kings Cross. Walk along Bondi Beach, see the exclusive suburbs of Double Bay and Vaucluse, and popular Paddington. Enjoy lunch on the famous Sydney Harbour travelling aboard the Magistic cruise vessel.
  • DAY 3 SYDNEY - Enjoy a full day at leisure or you may wish to take an optional tour to the Blue Mountains.
  • DAY 4 DEPART SYDNEY - A HotelBus coach will collect you from your hotel for a seat in coach transfer to the airport. Please wait in the foyer of your hotel for the driver. Depart Sydney.
