Our rates are FULLY INCLUSIVE of: unlimited mileage - Local VAT tax - CDW - Third Party Insurance - Theft Insurance ; The following rates are TENTATIVE WEEKLY rental rates (subject to change) - Other rates are available for less days (minimum rental is 3 days) - You can pick-up at any of the many HERTZ offices and drop-off in any other within Italy without any additional charge!

INFORMATION FOR CAR RENTALS IN ITALY: Any passenger purchasing a tour package or car rental through VANTAGE ADVENTURES acknowledges to read and agree to the following terms and conditions (Cars are reserved by group, make/models shown are for guidance only. Reservations for a specific model of car will not be accepted):
INSURANCE: Third party liability (including passengers) with a maximum of 3 billion Italian Lire (approx. US $ 2 Million)
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW), included in rate, no liability (no deductible).
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI), included in rate.
THEFT PROTECTION (TP), included in rate. A non-waivable deductible of LIT 500,000 plus 20% IVA tax will be applied for all groups
FUEL: A deposit of a full tank of gas has to be guaranteed at the time of pick up in form of an imprint on a major credit card. Only for group B and C a cash deposit of LIT 200,000 will be accepted, if client has no major credit card. A refuelling charge of LIT 20,000, plus the value of the gasoline missing will be charged if vehicle is returned with fuel missing (plus 20% IVA tax).
EXTRAS/EXTENSIONS/UPGRADES Luggage Rack, Ski Rack, Baby Seat and Snow Chains are on request at LIT 50,000 each. Extensions on rentals, upgrades to larger car groups requested locally, and any extras, are payable directly to car rental company, and subject to 20% IVA tax.
OIL AND MAINTENANCE: Expenses for oil, if any, are refunded against receipts in Italy at the time of return. No maintenance or repairs to the vehicle will be refunded without prior authorization by local agents.
ASSISTANCE: 24 hour road assistance - emergency toll free telephone number is printed on the rental agreement jacket. If customer suspects trouble with the car, he may place a collect call to HERTZ from any SHELL STATION in Italy.
Driver's Age: 25 years. Driver must be in possession of a valid driver's license held for at least one year.
It is recommended to place reservation no later than 21 days prior, full prepayment required.
REQUIRED: The Italian Government just approved a new tax on all rentals to be paid directly to Hertz in Italy. This new fee is Lit. 2,780 (approx. $ 1.92 per day) with a maximum of charge of 6 days in each 30 day rental period
