FjordOur Coastal Odyssey voyage cruises over 1,600 miles between Vancouver, B.C. and Anchorage, exploring the entire Inside Passage between British Columbia and Glacier Bay National Park, and the spectacular Gulf of Alaska coast. The graceful, all-suite Spirit of Oceanus, our flagship, takes you to ports other cruise lines don’t (or can’t) reach, and brings you close to shore to find puffins in Glacier Bay, seals and sea otters in the Kenai Fjords, and bears feeding along the shoreline of Admiralty Island. Coastal Odyssey + Denali continues into Alaska’s Interior via motorcoach and rail with two nights at Denali National Park and an overnight in Fairbanks.

Spirit of Oceanus
Cruise West’s first oceangoing vessel is also our most spacious and luxurious. Equipped with stabilizers, the Spirit of Oceanus opens up whole new horizons for our style of up-close, casual small-ship cruising. In Alaska, that means the Gulf of Alaska and the remote vastness of the Aleutian Islands and the Bering Sea. Our flagship hosts just 120 guests in comfortable outside suites, each with a picture window or porthole. The 15 suites on the Sun and Sports Decks feature private teak balconies, the first in our fleet. Other cabin amenities unique to the Spirit of Oceanus include a walk-in closet or wardrobe, a large marble bathroom, and a lounge area. Each suite also features an in-room safe and satellite telephone access.

At no additional cost, these departures will be co-hosted by professional PENTAX photographer Kerrick James, who will conduct special field events and onboard workshops throughout the cruise. Whether novice or seasoned photographers and regardless of the brand of camera you use, you will receive valuable, hands-on instruction on everything from image composition and digital image management to tips on how to be in the right place at the right time.

INCLUDED: The cost of your cruise includes $440 per person which covers taxes/port charges/fees and onboard services. Onboard gratuities are neither required nor expected.

NOT INCLUDED: Air fare from your home city and return. Passport and visa fees. Air departure taxes.
