Crete - 5D/4N
A relaxing 5 days on beautiful Crete with flights from Athens and a rental car while on the island! The largest island in Greece, marks the boundary between Europe and Africa. Majestic mountains, plateaus, gorges and valleys, palm and cedar forests, olive trees, orange groves, vineyards. Old stone farmhouses, monasteries and villages perched on mountain ridges, castles and chapels forgotten on steep slopes are all part of the scene in Crete. Crete(the dream land): The largest and southernmost island in Greece, Crete marks the boundary between Europe and Africa. Its majestic mountains, gorges and valleys covered with palm and cedar forests, olive trees, orange groves and vineyards, its old stone farmhouses, monasteries and villages perched on mountain ridges, its castles and chapels forgotten on steep slopes, have all lured travelers since time immemorial. Its shores, lined with forbidding rocks, are often inaccessible but there are also several inviting sandy or pebble beaches. The north side of the island, with the main city ports of Heraklion, Chania, Rethymno, Aghios Nikolaos and Sitia is more developed. You can fly from Athens to Heraklion or Chania in only 55 minutes or take the ferry (12 hours) or fast boat (6 hours).
Visiting the Islands
These island visits have been created as an extension to a stay in Athens or a tour of the mainland and we have tried to use the local ferries, if possible. If you are already in Athens a ferry, especially if you are going to Mykonos, is your best way to travel! It is just a 30 minutes flight to the island of Mykonos, but it may take 2 hours to go to the airport, you will need to be there 1 hour before the flight, then drive from the airport to town (another 30 minutes). With the ferry it will take 20 minutes to Piraeus and about 2 hours to get to Mykonos, a lot more relaxing and interesting! On each island we have selected a variety of accommodations ranging from modest to luxurious. If you are coming to Mykonos for the night-life, then you should find accommodations in town, where you can walk about and be in the center of everything.

Day by day Itinerary:
- Day 1 Athens / Crete - Morning transfer from your hotel to the airport by our taxi driver for your departure flight to Rhodes. On arrival you have a transfer to your selected hotel for 4 nights stay. (B)
- Day 2 - Day 4 Crete - Days free on this enchanting island to enjoy its breathtaking views, sizzling black sandy beaches and dazzling sunsets. (B)
- Day 5 Crete / Athens - Morning transfer from your hotel to the airport for your departure flight to Athens. On arrival you will be transferred to the city center by our taxi driver. (B)
