The otherworldly landscapes of Baja California and the beautiful
Sea of Cortés come as a delightful surprise to visitors who only know Mexico’s mega-resorts.
Here one finds hundreds of miles of shoreline, mostly roadless and uninhabited, line a sun-splashed
sea with rugged islands accessible only by small ship dotting the sea, scalloped by bays lined with soft white sand. La Paz, lined for miles by a lovely waterfront promenade. The ship’s launches zip you right to island beaches with nary a footprint in sight. The water invites you in, to snorkel among sergeant majors, rainbow wrasse, and puffer fish. Set your paddle to the water, to kayak into sea caves, or around the next headlands. The beaches here give way to tangled thickets of exotic
cacti and the warm waters of Mexico’s Pacific coast and the Sea of Cortés are home to up to 25 species of dolphins and
whales.
Costa
Rica & Panama
The peaceful, pastoral nation of Costa Rica Offers a breathtaking array of landscapes from cloud forests in the volcanic highlands to pristine jungle-clad coast, with the main park of Corcovado really accessible only by sea. Sir Francis Drake visited today’s Drake’s Bay in 1574, and pirates are known to have infested these waters.
While a transit through the Panama Canal is a fascinating experience, Panama offers much more, with island national parks, colorful traditional cultures, and well-preserved tropical ecosystems teeming with rare wildlife. Nearly 1,000 bird species, native, migratory and endemic, have been spotted in Panama, including the great green macaw, the
three-wattled bellbird, and the resplendent quetzal. Most of them can be seen in the regions we visit in Panama including the Islas
Perlas, Darién Jungle, Isla de Coiba and the San Blas Islands.
Belize
It is with great pleasure that we offer you our new
product in Belize. It is our vision to provide a similar
quality experience in Belize as we have for the past 18
years in the Galapagos: using small boats, catering to
small groups of families, friends and like-minded
travelers interested in close encounters with the
wonders of the natural world. All the while our
travelers will be provided with the comfort and service
details they are looking for. Belize and neighboring
Guatemala truly have much to offer: spectacular Mayan
cities of antiquity, exotic jungle rivers, quiet lagoons
and of course the fabulous beaches, cayes and atolls of
the second largest barrier reef in the world. We think
you will find we have put together a unique program that
brings together all the richness this destination has to
offer with a yacht equipped to explore all its habitats.
The program is very flexible for the best fit for your
travelers’ needs. We look forward to working with you to
provide them with a trip of a lifetime in Belize.
The
Caribbean
Sailing is romantic, exciting, and adventurous. Our
historic ships captivate sailors and land lubbers alike.
Ducking under booms, leaning against the railing a few
feet above the sea, watching the crew work the winches
and climb the masts are constant reminders that these
are legendary vessels. Awesome! That’s the best way to
describe the thrill of sailing on a tall ship. The fun
starts the moment you cross the gang plank. Hook-up with
kids and teens your own age as we raise the sails, catch
a tradewind and head for a week of adventure. Trek
through the lush canopy of a natural rainforest. Buzz
around on a jet ski or snorkel coral reefs alive with
colorful fish. Hike to the top of a waterfall and plunge
in for a cool swim. By the end of the cruise, you’re
sure to have a bunch of friends to add to your buddy
list. A Caribbean cruise is also the perfect dream
honeymoon... romantic, exciting and as active or
relaxing as you want it to be.
