  Cruises

Many boats sail the waters of the Galapagos and depart from two different ports, BALTRA or PUERTO BARQUERIZO MORENO, located on two different islands. Different airlines serve the two different airports. Our expert agents will construct your cruise itinerary with the correct flight segments to/from the Galapagos Islands. Due to arrival time of flights nearly all visits to the islands will require an overnight both on arrival and departure, on the mainland. We recommend staying in Quito at the beginning (the optimum would be 3 nights - which will give you time to explore the highlands and visit one of the Indian markets) as it offers more to the visitor, then spend the last night in Guayaquil. This is a typical program to the Galapagos:

Day 1: Depart to Ecuador
Depart to Ecuador. arrive in either Quito and Guayaquil. Transfer to the selected hotels for overnight (additional nights can be arranged either before or after the cruise to include all the activities you would like while in Ecuador)

Day 2: Galapagos Islands
Transfer to the airport for the flight to the Galapagos. Arrive in the Galapagos - Please Note: Galapagos National Park $ 80 and Municipal taxes $ 20 are not included and are payable upon arrival by each passenger - Transfer to the selected ship for the 3/4 or 7 nights cruise of the Galapagos with all meals and visits included as per itinerary

Day 5 - 6 - 9: Return to Mainland Ecuador
End of the cruise and transfer to the airport for the return flight to the mainland (either Guayaquil or Quito). Transfer to the selected Hotel for overnight

Day 6 - 7 - 10: Return
Transfer to the airport for your return flight

DIVING PROGRAMS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE ON SOME YACHTS - Itineraries for diving cruises can also be longer then the regular 7 nights - Please Note: Each yacht has a slightly different order of visits to the islands. Itinerary is sent at booking time, and may vary due to local conditions. Cruise itineraries are flexible, as they may change due to weather conditions and the captain may deviate for any reasons he deems advisable for the safety of passengers. His decision is final

Important Information
Galapagos National Park Tax and any Municipality tax is NOT included in your program and MUST be paid upon arrival to be granted permission to visit the Islands. Combined Tax for 2001 is $ 100 per person (subject to change) - PLEASE NOTE: All cruises are presented as CRUISE ONLY (no airfare is included) and best airfare from your departing city will be included at time of departure.
