Roatan, Bay IslandsRoatan, the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras, offers some of the world’s best scuba diving. The island is surrounded by coral reef providing calm, clear beaches for swimming and snorkeling, in addition to many varieties of sea life. Roatan makes for an ideal location for scuba diving, snorkeling, or just relaxing on the white sand beaches for a few days. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to make island life interesting, or if one prefers the tranquility of a secluded beach, Roatan offers plenty of that as well.

Copan Copan Ruinas is a tranquil oasis of ancient culture and sublime nature nestled in the foothills of western Honduras, just 7 miles from the Guatemala border. For years, Copán has been renowned for its magnificent Maya Ruins, a designated World Heritage Site believed by archeologists to be the cultural center, or the “Paris,” of the Maya world. The town of Copán Ruinas is a beautiful little village paved in cobblestone and lined with white adobe buildings with red-tile roofs. In addition to the world-class Maya ruins, horseback riding to Hacienda San Lucas, a visit to the tropical bird park, and special presentation by resident archaeologists are all possible at Copan.

Pico Bonito Pico Bonito National Park, the second largest national park in Honduras, is located minutes from downtown La Ceiba. It covers an area of 1073 square kilometers and reaches a height of 2436 meters. Due to its vast size and range of elevations it is one of the most naturally diverse areas in Central America. Pico Bonito is one of the least explored national parks in Honduras, preserving the park in its natural condition with only a handful of trails. Whitewater rafting, birdwacthing, jungle hikes, and day-trips to nearby Cayos Cochinos in the Bay Islands are all possibilities.
The Lodge at Pico Bonito is a luxury nature resort located on Honduras’ Caribbean coast nestled within the magnificent rainforest of the Pico Bonito National Park. Day 1, Arrival – San Pedro Sula - Guests upon arrival into San Pedro Sula airport will check in for their onward internal flight to La Ceiba (20mins) where they will be met and transferred to their hotel. La Ceiba Area 2N
Day 2, Cayos Cochinos (B, L) - Today guests can choose and either take a day trip out to the beautiful sandy beach islands of Cayos Cochinos, have an exhilerating white water rafting ride, take a boat tour of the Cuero y Salado Nature Park or have a day to explore & hike the Pico Bonito National Park.
Day 3, Pico Bonito Park & Transfer to Copan (B) - Guests can enjoy an early morning hike in Pico Bonito National Park before transferring to La Ceiba for a flight to San Pedro Sula and onward transfer to the pretty highland town of Copan Ruinas. (3hrs) Copan Ruinas 2N.
Day 4, Copan Archaeology Site & Bird Park (B, L) - Guests are transferred to the Archaeology site at Copan. Here they enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful site which is famous for its intricately carved stelea & hieroglyphic stairway as well as its comprehensive museum. When ready guests return to Copan and to the Bird Park for lunch. After lunch guests enjoy a walk in the lush, shady river valley location of the Copan Bird Park where they get a local guide to accompany them and see and interact with a number of beautiful tropical birds that have been rescued from locales all over Honduras. When ready guests are transferred back to their hotel.
Day 5, Transfer Out - This morning our driver will transfer guests to San Pedro Sula to connect with their international flight onwards.

: ROATAN BEACHES Transfers
Day 1, Arrival – San Pedro Sula - Roatan - Guests upon arrival into San Pedro Sula airport will check in for their onward internal flight to Roatan where they will be met and transferred to their hotel. Roatan 4N
Day 2-4, Free Time on Roatan - Relax on the beach or book locally an activity.
Day 5, Transfer Out (B) - This morning guests will transfer to Roatan airport for the flight to San Pedro Sula to connect with their international flight onwards.

: PLACENCIA – SNORKELLING – JAGUAR RESERVE
Day 1, Arrival & Flight to Placencia (B) - Guests have a meet & greet in the airport who will help them with check in for their 40min flight down to the coastal fishing village of Placencia. Placencia 4N
Day 2, Snorkel Half Day (B) - After breakfast guests are picked up for a half day snorkel trip out on the reef. Free afternoon to relax or book another trip locally.
Day 3, Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve (B) - Guests are picked up from their hotel for a guided tour of the Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve including hiking in the beautiful tropical nature reserve and a chance to see the elusive Jaguar. .
Day 4,Free day to Relax (B) - Today you can just relax on the beach, have some Spa Treatments or we can help to arrange another trip to inland or water destinations.
Day 5, Transfer out - Transfer to Placencia airport for the 40min flight to Belize International Airport in plenty of time for your flight out.

Day 1, San Pedro Sula to Copan - Guests upon arrival into San Pedro Sula guests will be met off their flight and transferred to the pretty highland town of Copan Ruinas.(3hrs) Rest of the afternoon free to explore this colonial style small town.

Day 2, Copan Site & Bird Park (B,L) - Guests are transferred to the Archaeology site at Copan. Here they enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful site which is famous for its intricately carved stelea & hieroglyphic stairway as well as its comprehensive museum. When ready guests return to Copan and to the Bird Park for lunch. After lunch guests enjoy a walk in the lush, shady river valley location of the Copan Bird Park where they get a local guide to accompany them and see and interact with a number of beautiful tropical birds that have been rescued from locales all over Honduras. When ready guests are transferred back to their hotel.
Day 3, Finca El Cisne (B,L) - You will be met at your hotel reception at 9am by your guide Carlos to begin your full day excursion out to “Finca El Cisne”. Carlos’s family owns the farm and he will take guests on a tranquil horseback ride through the farmlands and beautiful scenery of the Copan Valley followed by a hearty farmhouse lunch cooked by Carlos’s mother where you can taste the coffee grown here. In the afternoon guests explore the coffee and cardamom plantations and learn about cattle ranching. This wonderful tour finishes with a dip in the hot springs on the way back to your hotel.
Day 4, Transfer to Pico Bonito Park (B) - Guests transfer to San Pedro Sula (3hrs) for a short flight to La Ceiba (20mins) & transfer to their hotel / lodge. La Ceiba Area 2N
Day 5, Cuero y Salado (B,L) - Today guests can choose and either take a kayak and paddle through the mangroves seeing lots of birds, butterflies, bats and howler monkeys, have an exhilerating white water rafting ride or take a boat tour of the Cuero y Salado Nature Park
Day 6, Pico Bonito Park & Transfer to Roatan (B) - Guests can enjoy an early morning hike in Pico Bonito National Park before transferring to La Ceiba for a flight to the island of Roatan. Transfer to the hotel for overnight. Choose between more isolated beach hotels, the energetic beach of the West Bay area or the lively nightlife of the West End. Roatan 3N
Day 7 & 8, Beach Relaxation - Enjoy a free day on Roatan to sunbath, snorkel, dive or perhaps rent a moped or car to explore the island.

Day 5, Cacao Lagoon (B, L) - Guests are picked up from their hotel & transferred to Cacao Lagoon, where they will be able to meet the local people of this fishing village, living an authentic, traditional life. Then guests jump in the kayaks and paddle through the mangroves, always along the shore so that they can see as much wildlife as possible. In this area guests should see lots of birds, butterflies, bats and howler monkeys. Reaching the beachside of Cacao Lagoon we paddle into the Caribbean and try our kayaks in the waves. The beach here is picturesque, serene and deserted. After a fruity beach picnic, we paddle back to our starting point and are met for the transfer back to their hotel.

Day 6, Cuero y Salado & Garifuna Village (B, L) - Guests transfer from their hotel to this wildlife refuge situated 33km from La Ceiba which is home to many endangered animal species, found within the many mangrove canals proceeding from the rivers Cuero and Salado. There is a mixture both fresh and salt water, the reserve being right at the ocean’s edge. From La Union, we catch a ride on the old railway to reach this wildlife refuge, and then by boat or canoe we explore the mangrove lagoons. Manatees, monkeys, alligators and a variety of birds are all part of the highlights of this protected and diverse habitat run by the foundation FUCSA. Most frequently seen wildlife: Howler monkeys, more than 200 species birds (Herons, kingfishers, gallinules) and butterflies, manatee, alligators.
Day 7, Pico Bonito (B, L) - Guests are met at their hotel at around 8:00am & travel by 4×4 to the tropical forest of Pico Bonito. Here guests follow several trails trek deep into the lush vegetation - en route discovering butterflies, birds and many other species of wildlife. Following the Rio Zacate trail, we’ll have a beautiful view of the Caribbean Coast, reaching the magnificent Zacate Waterfall at approx. 1:30pm. Hiking along the magnificent ‘Cordillera Gracias a Dios’, which has it´s highest peak in Pico Bonito will leave you breathless at the natural and sweeping beauty of a park that has made Honduras famous as a destination for eco-tours.
Day 8, Pico Bonito Park & Transfer to Roatan (B) - Guests can enjoy an early morning hike in Pico Bonito National Park before transferring to La Ceiba for a flight to the island of Roatan. Transfer to the hotel for overnight. Choose between more isolated beach hotels, the energetic beach of the West Bay area or the lively nightlife of the West End. Roatan 4N
