  Information
They say in Ireland that there are no strangers-only friends you haven't met. The Irish pride themselves on their warm welcomes, and they have made conversation an art form. Almost everywhere you go in Ireland there are great castles and mansions and stately country homes with incredible gardens to visit. And you will find that many of the castles or mansions you visit have been lovingly maintained, with original paintings, tapestries, and paneling creating an atmosphere of regal elegance. All providing a trace of the rich Irish historical and architectural heritage. Irish people honor tradition and treasure all beautiful things. They like people who come and visit to feel the culture and enjoy the island's heritage. This is one reason they do not lock all treasures in museums. In fact, some of Ireland finest paintings and furnishing are right there in the rooms and halls where you may be staying.

Ireland also has the casual elegance of Europe: you would expect that in Dublin, of course, but it is a special pleasure when you arrive at your destination in the country and discover that you are staying in a magnificent manor house, a lovingly restored castle or a farmhouse filled with charm, warmth and Irish hospitality.

The island is full of incredible bargains and those who explore her can discover the greatest bargains of all, traditional Irish crafts, like Waterford crystal, Irish lace and Donegan tweeds. Timeless classics along with the latest of fashion that rivals the best in Europe. And, for the connoisseurs, the chance of a lifetime discovery in an antique shop!

Scenic attractions include the romantic Lakes of Killarney; the lush Wicklow Mountains; and the Cliffs of Moher, that rise from the sea in a five-mile wall. Splendid Georgian houses and gardens are seen throughout the country, and there are castles that offer luxury lodging and medieval-style banquets.
In Ireland the laughter starts early in the morning and lasts till late at night. We want you to come and share the fun, the good times and the special laughter. You will find Ireland always ready to entertain you, with an ancient game or with a glorious concert, or simply with all the spirit and warmth of an Irish pub - where you can actually feel the very soul and spirit of Ireland.

Ireland is also enjoying a culinary renaissance. Young cooks are making the most of the excellent Irish produce, fish and meats. Of course, the lamb stew is unsurpassed. Beef is simply grilled or roasted. Dublin Bay prawns, oysters, Shannon salmon and trout are delicious, as are the country-cured ham and bacon and the coarse-cut oatmeal that are the mainstays of breakfast.
