Local Payment - Helping to keep the cost to you down…
Most of our adventure tours involve a Local Payment that is paid to the Leader/Representative in cash on day 1 of your tour. This Local Payment is put towards local expenses, such as arranging internal flights as well as entrance and guide fees. Local Payments also reduce the need to wire or transfer funds which can become very expensive. This lowers our operational costs so we can pass the savings on to you. The local payment is in addition to, and is not included in, the base tour price.

  • Day 1 Arrive Mumbai - Arrive in Mumbai at any time.
  • Day 2-3 Bhuj (2B) - Bhuj was the capital of the princely state of Kutch and is famous for its rich handicrafts and jewelry.
  • Day 4 Gujurat village stay (B,D) - Driving further into the heartland of Gujurat, we see tribal villages, former princely states and towns famous for their weaving handicrafts.
  • Day 5 Little Rann of Kutch Sanctuary (B,D) - An expanse of salt flats and grasslands, the Little Rann of Kutch has a stark and unforgettable beauty. This unique ecosystem, which supports a variety of fauna, is one of the last refuges of the Asiatic wild ass.
  • Day 6 Ahmedabad (B) - Ahmedabad is home to Sabarmati Ashram, where Gandhi made his headquarters. It is equally famous for “Gujurati Thali” a delicious and distinct cuisine which will definitely tickle your taste buds.
  • Day 7 Dungarpur (B,D) - Dungarpur, the “City of Hills”, was founded in the 13th century and rose to fame under the Guhilot Ahara Suryavanshi Rajputs. Dungarpur is still a picturesque town set amongst the rugged peaks of the Aravalli mountains.
  • Day 8-9 Udaipur (2B) - Continue to Udaipur, famous for its plethora of breathtaking lakes and Raj-era palaces. Most famous of these, and certainly the most photographed, is the Lake Palace, an island-palace made of white marble buildings sitting in the middle of Lake Pichola.
  • Day 10 Jodhpur (B) - Welcome to the ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur. Towering over the city, Meherangarh Fort, together with the palaces and bazaars, epitomizes all that is Rajasthan. Visit one of the nearby Bishnoi villages.
  • Day 11-12 Jaipur (2B) - Home to India’s second most visited site, the Hawa Mahal. Follow in the footsteps of the royal harem and ride an elephant to the cliff top fort palace at Amber, one of the most spectacular in India.
  • Day 13 Agra (B) - Agra is home to two of India’s most famous landmarks: the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. Ride one of the ubiquitous cycle rickshaws to move between both. Visit these icons of Mughal architecture.
  • Day 14 Delhi (B) - Dive into the heart of India’s capital to explore both Old and New Delhi. Visit Delhi’s famous Jama Masjid (Great Mosque) or walk through Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets.
  • Day 15 Delhi (B) - Depart.
