The city of San Juan is the capital of the province, and is situated 1,140 km (712 miles) from Buenos Aires. It is one of the oldest cities in the country strongly attached to its historic roots. However, it has a modern appearance, since it has been almost fully rebuilt after many of its old buildings were devastated by a strong earthquake that shattered the city in 1944.

  • Day 1 San Juan - Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Valle Fertil. Accommodation.
  • Day 2 San Juan - Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to Ischigualasto Provincial Park,
    best known as “Moon Valley”, one of the most important paleontological reserves in the world. We will drive along the park discovering its paleontological natural resources and
    Triassic fossils, as well as the geoforms known as “the submarine” and “the mushroom”, among others. We will continue to the Talampaya Canyon National Park with its red walls, 1200 mts. high, the condors and the rupestrian paintings. (B)

  • Day 3 San Juan - Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to San Juan’s airport. (B)
