Ski Sella Ronda-Val Gardena-Ortisei

SellaSella Ronda is an area unlike any othe, really a tour around a mountain rather than a specific location, an amazing circular network of lifts and trails taking you around the spectacular Gruppo Sella. The name itself has come to symbolize an area that covers many villages like Ortisei, Corvara, Colfosco, Selva Gardena etc. all around the Sella Massif, a vast, squarishly shaped massif of rock standing high and spectacular, surrounded by gentle trails leading around the gently sloping base, the circuit of which is some 25km (16 miles) long and possible to complete in a day by an average skier. The scenery is also fabulous, almost a match for nearby Cortina, with the Dolomites emerging like giant organ pipes from a landscape of gentle pastureland.

12 skiing areas are united under the Dolomiti Superski umbrellaand, beside this impressive main circuit, there are major lift systems leading off it at four main points to different ski valleys and the Superski lift ticket covers dozens of other resorts reachable by road. So there’s plenty to keep you busy.
