Slovenia is a hospitable country which surprises its visitors with the abundance of traditional Slovenian food as well as culinary masterpieces which originated outside the country but have received a Slovenian touch. To complement our dishes there have always been excellent wines of the three Slovenian wine growing regions. You can encounter all these pleasures on wine roads and in the numerous traditional gostilnas, the heart of the Slovenian culinary traditions, still often owned by families cooking homemade dishes. Culinary offer is supplemented by excellent Slovenian wines, especially in the wine growing regions. Gostilnas are famous for homeliness and genuine hospitality - that is one of the reasons why guests like coming there again and again.
Slovenia also has more than fifteen natural thermal and climatic health resorts which guarantee first-class relaxation for the body and soul, as well as treatment for various health problems. In all of Slovenia’s thermal health resorts, programs for beauty and relaxation have been developed in addition to the classical spa services.

Itinerary:
- Day 01 Ljubljana - Arrival to Ljubljana airport and a transfer to Ljubljana. Overnight at your hotel.
- Day 02 Ljubljana - Čatež - Morning walking sightseeing tour of Ljubljana. Continue to Novo Mesto, after a short orientation tour and some free time for lunch, we will drive along the river Krka to Otočec, an island on the Krka River. Short stop in Otocec. The rest of the day is dedicated to relax and experience many wellness and spa treatments in Čatež spa resort. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)
- Day 03 Olimje – Rogaška Slatina - This morning we will travel north through Bizeljsko wine region, where you will have wine tasting at one of the many wineries. In Olimlje visit one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe and in Rogatec the open-air heritage museum. Overnight in Rogaška Slatina spa resort, where you can experience prestigious comfort, quality spa and wellness programs. (B, D)
- Day 04 Maribor - Ptuj - Travel to Maribor, the second largest city in Slovenia. Enjoy a walking tour of the city with your tour escort. Drive to Ptuj. Upon arrival take a walk through this picturesque city and visit the Ptuj Castle. Overnight in Ptuj (B)
- Day 05 Ptuj - Day at leisure to enjoy the spa treatments of your hotel or optional visit to the local wine cellar till evening transfer to Jeruzalem region for dinner and wine tasting. (B,D)
- Day 06 Ptuj - Bled - Morning drive to Logar Valley, a protected regional park. Visit Rinka waterfalls and continue to Kamnik, a romantic town surrounded by the Alps. Afternoon at Bled - pearl of the Alpine region. Overnight in Bled. (B)
- Day 07 Bled - Day at leisure in Bled to relax in the wellness center of your hotel or take an optional visit to Bohinj. Overnight (B)
- Day 08 BLED – Goriška Brda - Today travel from the Alpine region to Goriška Brda. On the way stop in Kobarid and visit the WW1 museum. Continue to the vineyard Goriška Brda. Dinner accompanied by local wines in the wine district of Goriška Brda. Overnight.(B,D)
- Day 09 Štanjel – Škocjan Cave - Portoroz - Morning walk through a typical Karst village – Štanjel. You will continue to Škocjan to enter the wonder of the Karst underworld (protected by UNESCO). Afternoon drive to the Slovenian coast and your hotel situated the in popular resort of Portorož. In the evening take a walk trough picturesque Piran, a town with a strong Venetian imprint and have dinner in a local fish restaurant. Overnight in Portorož. (B,D)
- Day 10 Portorož - Day at leisure in Portorož (B)
- Day 11 Portorož - Breakfast and end of the tour with return transfer to Ljubljana airport. (B)
