REGIONAL PROGRAMS
Argentina, being a huge country, has different geographical areas, each one offering much to the visitor. Buenos Aires and its province, are part of the Pampas region, Argentina's vast flat agricultural heartland. From Buenos Aires visitors flock to the North-East provinces to reach Iguazu Falls, an area of swampy lowland forests and upland savannahs, extending into the Chaco. The Andean Northwest and Cuyo offer Andean peaks, high puna (cold savannah) and salares (salt lakes) with a range of climates: from cold and dry to subtropical. After Buenos Aires, the most visited parts of Argentina is Patagonia, further subdivided into three main areas: the Southern Lakes District, the Central Provinces and Southern Patagonia with Tierra del Fuego and its main city, Ushuaia, the gateway to exploring the Strait of Magellan, Cabo de Hornos and Antarctica. Each region offers many tours which can be combined for a full Argentinean experience!
