Trekking Circuit In The Chaltén - 9D/8N
This programme combines the best treks in Patagonia, including those to Mount Fitz Roy & Cerro Torre, an ice trek on the Torre Glacier and a trek to Paso del Viento, which is the access to the fantastic Southern Patagonian Ice-Field. This adventure will combine both comfortable hosterÃas and camping at Cerro Torre, Fitz Roy & Laguna Toro Base-camps.
Included: English speaking guide - Transportation - Accommodation on a twin share basis.
Not Included: Any airfare - Passports and Visas - Personal Expenses - Beverages.
Departures: Daily (From October 08 to March 09).
Accommodation: HosterÃas, Camps.
Day by day Itinerary:
- Day 1 - Join Chaltén.
- Day 2 - Laguna de los Tres trek and camp at Cerro Torre base-camp.
- Day 3 - Ice trek on Cerro Torre’s Glacier.
- Day 4 - Laguna Toro trek through Pliegue Tumbado.
- Day 5 - Glacier Viedma trek, views of the southern ice-field from Paso del Viento.
- Day 6 - At leisure exploring the area.
- Day 7 - Trek to Cerro Huemul. Observe condors.
- Day 8 - Navigate to BahÃa Tunel and drive back to El Chaltén.
- Day 9 - Tour ends after breakfast.
