Villa S. Andrea a Bacialla - Cortona - Italy

Exquisite Luxury Vacation Rental Villa in Tuscany
Beautifully restored in 1999-2000, this former presbytery from the 11th century set within the ruins and gardens of the church of Sant’ Andrea, becomes the ideal vacation villa for relaxing and discovering Tuscany. With over seven acres of private olive groves and fruit trees and swimming-pool, the home is furnished graciously and comfortably in keeping with the dignity and the serenity of the landscape. You will awake in the morning, after a sound night’s sleep on posture-pedic mattresses and luxury linens to the brilliance of the sunrise, the singing of birds, and fresh country breezes through the windows. This privately owned home is spacious in size (over 5000 sq. ft.) and will accommodate eight to sixteen. Winters are warmed by the four antique fireplaces, a functional antique woodburning oven, central heating and two wood stoves. Summers are cooled by full air-conditioning. The Guest House, a separate private cottage accommodating two to four, is included with the rental. The property affords seven bedrooms and five bathrooms furnished in antiques, antique reproductions, oriental carpets and original oil paintings. The roof-top terrace of the Guest House overlooks the swimming-pool and the Chiana Valley.
